A large-scale industrial rooftop solar project across two factory buildings.
Located in Qingyuan, Zhejiang, this project has an installed capacity of around 2 MWp and covers two industrial factory rooftops.
A quick view of scale, roof conditions, and the main construction challenges.
Installed scale: approx. 2 MWp
Project type: industrial rooftop solar
Energy model: self-consumption
Role: EPC delivery
Status: completed
Location: Qingyuan, Zhejiang
Building type: industrial steel structures with metal roofs
Factory A: approx. 3000 m² · height around 20 m
Factory B: approx. 1000 m² · height around 10 m
The metal roofs use a standardized aluminum-rail mounting system.
The distance from the inverter area of the smaller factory to the power distribution room is around 200 meters.
A Delivery focus: roof safety, system performance, electrical routing, and large-scale site execution.
The project spans two neighboring factory buildings with significant roof area and different heights.
The project uses a large metal-roof array arrangement with an overall installed capacity of around 2060 kW.
Because of the site span and cable quantity, all major electrical routes were organized through cable trays for safety, waterproofing coordination, and code-compliant execution.
The project was client-invested, while our role focused on construction delivery.
Site photos, roof conditions, and installation references.
